On Wednesday 25 September drumMUSTER presented the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) with a certificate recognising their outstanding contribution toward Australia’s most successful stewardship program.

In WA the program commenced in January 2000, and last week the 5 millionth container entered a drumMUSTER compound operated by Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council.

Agsafe’s General Manager, Dominique Doyle presented this certificate to Tanya Beinhauer and Stephen Fitzpatrick from EMRC. drumMUSTER would particularly like to highlight the contribution of Tanya who was initially trained as a drumMUSTER inspector in June 2003 and has coordinated the collections at Red Hill since that time.

Tanya and EMRC provides a great service for drumMUSTER through ensuring dates for collections are available one year in advance and submitting data on a regular basis following each monthly collection.

This is a fantastic achievement across the state, and all regional councils and communities that participate in the program are doing their bit to keep rural properties waste free and ensuring a sustainable pathway for disposal of empty Agchem containers.
