Agsafe delivers drumMUSTER and ChemClear under contract to AgStewardship Australia. The programs are funded by a 4 cent per litre/kilogram levy on the sale of agricultural and veterinary chemicals. The levy is ultimately passed on to end-users at the point of sale and is used to fund the operations of the programs nationally. The levy is collected under a special authorisation from the ACCC.
Agsafe welcomes Ivorychem Australia Pty Ltd, Grochem AU Pty Ltd and Chemetall (Australasia) Pty Ltd, who have recently joined the programs. This brings the total number of manufacturers that produce agvet chemical products and participate in ChemClear and drumMUSTER through agreements with AgStewardship to 121.
