Agsafe are thrilled to announce the participation of Seasol® in the drumMUSTER agricultural and veterinary (AgVet) container recycling program.
By participating in our product stewardship program, Seasol® have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to the environment as well as sustainable farming and horticultural practice.
Agsafe’s General Manager Dominique Doyle welcomed Seasol® to the drumMUSTER family.
“It is tremendous to welcome Seasol® to the drumMUSTER family. drumMUSTER is an industry led program which the manufacturers of the chemicals, not the containers, voluntarily join to enable the responsible disposal of ag chem containers across Australia. Seasol® joins 120 other socially responsible companies that understand sustainable recycling of empty containers is the key to successful product stewardship across the agricultural supply chain.”’
Dominique Doyle, Agsafe General Manager
Seasol® is a household name in horticulture who manufacture and market organic liquid seaweed and environmentally friendly fertilisers in the retail, commercial and export sector.
“Seasol is proud to be part of drumMUSTER as it extends our commitment to environmental best practise on container disposal. We see the program as another opportunity to support our 5 pillars of promoting “a better way to grow”.
National Sales Manager Commercial Division, Craig Brown.
Seasol is still 100% Australian made and owned and is an organically certified input. The company employs over 60 people and takes its product from harvest to manufacture and market.
The drumMUSTER program has collected and recycled over 35 million AgVet containers since operations began in 1999. This equates to over 40,000 tonnes of agricultural plastic waste that has been diverted from landfill or saved from being buried or burned on farms.
Remember, by purchasing products that participate in the drumMUSTER program you are ensured of having an environmentally friendly way to dispose of your empty agvet containers across Australia.
