Published: 08-02-2023

Agsafe is pleased to announce that Omnia Specialties (Australia PTY LTD), has joined the drumMUSTER & ChemClear programs from February 2023.

Omnia Specialties (Australia PTY LTD), manufacture speciality fertilisers and bio-stimulants including Humates, Fulvates and Kelp products.

In addition to fertilisers, Omnia Specialities have a full range of Trace Elements, Biostimulants and Plant Health products that are used globally to improve crop health, yields and improve soil health in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way.

Products such as Omnia’s FertiCoat can now be recycled through the drumMUSTER program.

Agsafe’s General Manager, Dominique Doyle said of Omnia Specialties joining drumMUSTER, “We are very pleased that Omnia Specialties Australia is now a program participant, joining `137 other companies that are meeting their product stewardship obligations”

There will be a period before containers carry the drumMUSTER Eligible Containers logo. New container labels will have the logo printed on them. Current warehouse stock will be stickered with the drumMUSTER Eligible Containers logo. Existing product in distribution will not have the logo applied.

As such, all Omnia Specialities drums can be accepted at all drumMUSTER collection sites effective immediately.

Inspectors can keep up-to-date with a full list of participating manufacturers available on the drumMUSTER website at www.drummuster.com.au/whos-involved/manufacturers/

The drumMUSTER program has collected and recycled almost over 40 million AgVet containers since operations began in 1999. This equates to nearly 43,000 tonnes of agricultural plastic waste that has been diverted from landfill or saved from being buried or burned on farms.
